Very cool! Our library has a teen group (not sure what they call it) and I'm in the works of hopefully working closer with them.
I'm jealous of your Alabama Book Festival! Here we don't really have anything close enough. Hopefully I can eventually make it to something.
The Alabama Book Festival sounds like a good excuse for a road trip. Bravo for taking initiative and talking to authors about your blog, I'm sure most of them appreciate the exposure blogs give their work.
Reading this has made me feel like asking my library wha can I do - they have practically no events other than a few todller things. Time for me to step up - as shy as I am :-)
Oh, Alabama Book Festival sounds AWESOME! It sounds like a local BEA indeed. <3 And I'm so jealous about the Teen Advisory Board! It's really cool since you can take part about what books your library should buy! x)
Thank you for following me! You have a very cute blog. <3 I follow you back now. x)
The Alabama Book Festival sounds very fun! And personally I think it's nice when events are closer to home-then you can relax and enjoy yourself without the stress of traveling a long distance.
It sounds like you've got a good handle on this networking thing. TABs are such a great resource for libraries & so much fun to work with! Tattooed Books
