Life
This is a poem I wrote called "Life". Hope you enjoy!
Lying on my bed.
Thoughts flowing through my head.
Staring at the ceiling.
Looking at the peelings.
What do I want to do in life?
Should I be a writer or at stay at home wife?
Maybe I’ll own a business one day.
Something that will benefit people in a good way.
Or should I be safe and cautious,
And become a waitress?
College is coming in a pinch,
And I've yet to find my niche.
Choosing a college is the hardest part.
So many choices I don’t know where to start.
Should I stay in state and put my dreams on delay?
Or go out of state a world away?
The great thing about life is that anything is possible.
So I think it’s time for me to conquer the impossible.
